Project BlackMatter
The dead rose on Block Island. The mainland fell next. Now every state is a graveyard waiting to be explored.
The infection started in Rhode Island.
Nobody thought it would spread.
They were wrong.
Navigate a geospatially-accurate recreation of the United States. Scavenge supplies, build your base, brew survival perks at JAVA's Coffee Shop, and fight your way through an ever-escalating zombie apocalypse driven by your own choices.
What Awaits
A server-authoritative AI that watches how you play. Your kills, your gear, your progress all feed a Player Score that determines what the dead throw at you next.
Built on Cesium geospatial data. Block Island is 3x7 miles of accurate coastline. Rhode Island's cities, hospitals, and asylums are real locations rendered at scale.
Nothing is handed to you. JAVA's Coffee Shop must be found. Missions are triggered by exploration. Underground passages are hidden easter eggs, not map markers.
Zombie tier scales with your Player Score. Zone density controls spawn rate. Veterans can't carry newbies through easy mode. The dead adapt to your strength.
Discover coffee shops scattered across the map. Brew survival perks, decrypt JAVA's encoded broadcasts, and access the mission board for contracted operations.
Rhode Island is just the beginning. Complete story contracts and find border passages to unlock new states. Every state is a live season with unique zombies, bosses, and lore.
"JAVA's encrypted broadcast came through at 3AM. Something about a passage under the old school in Exeter. Nobody who went in has come back."Recovered Radio Log — Day 47
